Scan all user registry files or only the current user file

If the option Check the machine and all user registry files on this computer is selected, then all registry files of every user account existent on the computer will be searched for errors. Every user registry file will look like [KEY_USERS]\S-1-5-xx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxx, where the x is a digit.

The key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER] is not scanned because it is equal to one of user keys under [HKEY_USERS].

Note: Full administrator's privileges in the system required to check all user registry files.

If the option "Check the machine and only current user registry file" is selected, then Registry First Aid will search for errors only the current user registry file [HKEY_CURRENT_USER] and the "Default User" file [HKEY_USERS]\.Default.
