The first step of checking
the registry for errors is selecting error categories to scan for.

Scan options such as Paths to Scan for Corrections,
Registry Hives to scan, Full Backup and Restore Point
creation should be reviewed and configured, if needed. See Scan Options. Click the Start
Scan button to proceed.
